Wooden Staircase Selection Guide

4. Installation

Once production is complete, the staircase systems are shipped to the project site and installed by our expert installation team. The staircases are made ready for use in a short time and handed over after a final inspection with a delivery report.

3. Production

In line with the approved design, fire-resistant solid wood staircases are produced in our modern workshop. With CNC machining, hand sanding and a special surface finish, every step is completed with care.

2. Sample

After design approval, a sample step is produced with the selected wood, surface treatment and fire-rated finish. Colour, texture and durability are tested on site and submitted for the investor's approval.

1. Design

Based on the hotel's architecture, floor plan and aesthetic concept, our professional team designs the solid wood species, step form and balustrade details. Every staircase is drawn specifically for its space.

Why Does Professional Manufacturing Matter?

Hotel staircases are among the most heavily used areas, with hundreds of people passing every day. That is why wooden staircase manufacturing requires a professional process in terms of durability, safety and aesthetics. The wrong material or faulty installation leads to both visual and structural problems.

Professional manufacturers use wood species, surface treatments and fire-rated finishes specific to hotel projects. When choosing a wooden staircase manufacturer, the company's experience, reference projects and technical capabilities are of great importance.

Materials Used

In quality wooden staircase manufacturing, the choice of material directly determines the lifespan of the project. Hotel projects generally favour materials that are durable, attractive and fire-resistant.

The most commonly used materials are:

  • Solid oak, beech and walnut
  • Natural wood veneer surfaces
  • Fire-rated impregnation and surface protectors
  • Lacquered and matt painted surfaces
  • Metal and glass balustrade details

These materials offer hotel projects professional solutions in terms of both durability and a luxurious look. With the right choice of material, wooden staircases can be used without problems for decades.

Fire-Resistant Wooden Staircases (E60 / E90 / E160)

Fire safety is one of the most critical issues in hotel projects. That is why our staircases are produced with impregnation and finishing processes that comply with international fire standards. Fire-resistant wooden staircases slow the spread of flames and smoke in the event of a fire, allowing safe evacuation.

Our staircases produced to the E160 standard are especially preferred for hotel corridors, floor exits and fire escape areas. Combining modern wooden aesthetics with high safety standards, our staircases are an essential part of hotel projects.

Wooden Staircase Prices and Cost Planning

Prices in wooden staircase projects vary depending on many factors. The number of floors, step width, chosen wood species and surface treatment have a direct impact on cost.

When planning a staircase project, the following are usually taken into account:

  • Number of floors and steps
  • Solid wood species (oak, beech, walnut, etc.)
  • Balustrade system (wood, metal, glass or combined)
  • Surface treatment (lacquer, varnish, matt or coloured paint)
  • Fire-rated finish requirements
  • Installation and logistics

When working with a professional manufacturer, every stage proceeds as planned and investors are offered turnkey wooden staircase solutions. This keeps costs under control and ensures the project is completed on time.

Frequently Asked Questions

Wooden Staircase Project Process and Management

The production process in wooden staircase projects should proceed in a planned and professional way. The process usually consists of design, sample production, serial production and installation. Managing these stages correctly is essential both for cost control and for completing the project on time.

A professional wooden staircase manufacturer coordinates every stage of the project. In the design stage, a staircase form suited to the hotel's architecture and floor plan is defined. With sample production, the wood species, surface treatment and balustrade details are tested on site.

During production, steps, landings and balustrade systems are made from solid woods such as oak, beech or walnut. Fire-rated finishes are applied at this stage. Once production is complete, the staircase systems are shipped to the project site and installed by expert teams.

Thanks to this professional process, hotel projects achieve successful results in terms of both aesthetics and safety.
